Hi Stuart!
I have read your website with interest. We moved to Leasgill, near Milnthorpe, nearly 2 years ago and the night skies are amazing as there is so little light pollution. I bought my husband a telescope but he hasn't the confidence or know-how to set it up. Are you available - obviously for a fee! - to give him a hand? it is such a shame that this rather fancy piece of equipment is not being enjoyed. He did have one some years ago but seems to have forgotten what to do. I'm hoping that he'll be inspired to join the EAS group once he's got the telescope up and running.
Many thanks,
Maggie Hart

Hi Stuart,
I found you and your site through a Google search on your name. Your book Astronomy translated into Turkish at 5TL is available through a childrens magazine called "Bilim Cocuk" published here in Turkey. It is a brilliant magazine that would cost £5 a time in the UK but is 4TL here (£1.37). You are in good company here.
Anyway, we would like a copy in English as well as the Turkish translation we already have. I can't see where to buy on your site?
Look forward gto hearing from you. Your enthusiam inspires.

I used to drop in once in a while to see what you had new on your AOL Journal. However, I just found out that AOL feature no longer exists as of Oct 31 (at least here in the US). Glad to find you here and will bookmark, but I will miss The 'Verse and your other categories on the Journal. Are they available some other way?
