I run Kendal’s astronomical society, the EDDINGTON ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY (EAS), named after the famous cosmologist Sir Arthur Eddington. EAS is now the largest and most active of Cumbria’s four astronomical societies.
EAS holds monthly meetings in Kendal Museum, as well as special public observing events, lectures, presentations and other activities. You can find the EAS website here:
